Patch notes

Bosses can arrive early, and you can clear gear by rarity
New
  • The Inventory screen can now sell or salvage all your gear under a rarity you pick, and the Market sell tab can sell it. The buttons show how many items that covers and the gold or materials you will get.
  • This covers your pack and overflow chest. It leaves equipped gear, upgraded gear, resources and consumables alone.
Changed
  • Once less than 10 seconds are left on the timer and no fight is going, the next enemy is the boss. You no longer start one more normal fight right before it.
  • Killing the boss ends the run, even if there is time left.
  • This shifts survival in the late areas, because most of those runs now skip the last fight before the boss. In our simulations, a level 46 Stormcaller in Blighted Quarter goes from 63% to 95% survival. A level 41 Packlord there goes from 23% to 15%.
Gear comparison and a way back to your run
New
  • Selecting an item in your inventory now compares it with what you have equipped in that slot. Gear in the market and at the Artificer gets the same comparison. Each stat that changes shows its before and after values, and rings compare against both ring slots.
  • While a run is going, every other game screen shows a banner with the area, the time left and a Return to expedition button. The Areas tab also reads Expedition and has a pulsing dot.
Changed
  • Salvage buttons now name what you will get, and the page says what you got afterward. A line under the buttons explains that salvaging destroys the item for material used by the Blacksmith, Alchemist and Artificer.
Fixed
  • When the timer ran out in the middle of a fight, the enemy disappeared with no kill and no loot, and the boss spawned at once. That fight now plays out, for up to 2 minutes past the timer, and the boss comes when it ends.
  • Stat totals showed long decimals such as 6.721404442656786. They now show at most one decimal place.
